An End to the Strike

Lydia's digestive strike is over. She has returned to her usual schedule, which is a huge relief (literally!) She is much happier, which makes us happier, too! She has also gotten over the nasty side effects caused by her immunizations. Now if only Robin and I could kick the bug we both seem to have picked up that has left us feverish, queasy, and achy...

    I'm glad Lydia is feeling better and hope the two of you feel better soon. Let us know if we can do anything for you - bring food, etc. We'd be glad to help if you need it.

    Gabriel didn't like those shots either.. the 4 month ones are worse.. he got a fever of 102.1... as for the pooping strike -our pedi told us to give Gabriel a bottle with .5 oz gerber organic apple juice and .5 oz of water everyday as needed.. it has helped him a lot.. the fiber in the juice works wonders for their digestive system... we have increased the amount of juice we give him to about 1.5 each now..
