This brings me to our next first. I have been really nervous about taking Lydia out for long periods of time, in case she got hungry and needed to nurse. She got fussy last night at El Chile, and I was able to nurse her at the table, which luckily was situated in a corner. I used a blanket to cover her (and me) up, and all was well! Full meal accomplished and enjoyed--appetizers, entree, and dessert!

I'm a little apprehensive about the restaurant scene, too. In fact, I chickened out of a date night tonight because I am still not very adept with the blanket. However, I have fed Drew in the fitting room at Kohl's. Baby steps, right?!
ReplyDeleteHey chicky.. you should invest in a light little nursing wrap.. they are like 13 dollars.. walmart, babies r us have them.. ( I have 2 of them, one in each diaper bag since I have a daycare bag and a small diaper bag).. it makes the restaurant scene so much easier to handle nursing without showing anything accidentally.. :) just pop it in the diaper bag at all times, so you are always ready just in case :) hope that helps :)
