Epic Roadtrip Installment #5

After Forest Lake, Robin, Lydia, Stanley, and I packed up and headed to Madison to spend a few days with Dale, Marie, and Elise. We caught five beautiful days and partook in lots of Madisonian fun.

We strolled around the capitol at the Saturday Farmers' Market. Take note of Lydia's adorable new dress, a gift from Gramma Mree!



Dale introduced Lydia to Starbucks.


Lydia mooched off of everyone's Farmers' Market treats. She and Aunt Elise bonded over raspberries!

At the house, Lydia enjoyed the great Wisconsin outdoors al fresco





and so did Stanley.




We had a great dinner with Robin's grandparents who live nearby. They will be celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary this year!! I have a great photo of Robin, Dale, and Grandpa Hugh that I will post later.


We celebrated Elise's graduation from the University of Wisconsin! Even though she's a badger, we still like her!


Lydia loved playing with the Little Tykes kitchen, so much that we purchased a Little Tykes kitchen when we got home. We need to teach her proper cooking etiquette. She took my enthusiasm about my new Naked Chef cookbook a little too literally.
